What some of CoachGurney's clients have to say:

There have been many technically great golfing teachers in this world yet only some have been blessed with great golfing minds. Andrew Gurney is one of those unique people.

I have met many golfing professionals & coaches through my travels over the last few years & it must be said Andy has a wealth of knowledge rarely equalled; yet he continues to learn & search for new idea's that will better him as a coach, add to his wealth of knowledge & ultimately help his students!

As a coach he is competent, passionate & will always get the very best from his students. Words seem useless to describe his talent & I could not recommend him highly enough for any aspiring golfer wanting to improve or to be the very best they can be,

Andy will get you there… providing you work as hard as he does.

Andy helped me a lot with my game in just 4 days. I’ve been through many golf teaching pros in my golf career (at least 8). This included Laird Small (a highly ranked Teaching Pro from Pebble Beach).

My ball striking improvement was much better than I have ever experienced with other pros. The reason is that Andy has a sincere interest in my improvement.

Even when he moved back to NZ, he would regularly contact me over email/video requesting for an update or video of my swing. He promptly would respond with a video of a drill or tip to help me even more. I’ve never had that with any pro.

Andy would be a great long term pro and I would definitely see him regularly as he has made me enjoy the game much more. Also, he has a very entertaining way of communicating the fixes so it’s impossible to forget.

Golf is a lot like life the more you put in the more you get out!! Took me a long time to work this out. After a lesson with Andy, I thought I knew what I was doing. How wrong could I be? After what seemed like forever and erratic scores and lots of frustration, I went back to Andy and a realisation that more time and practice was needed, my scores dropped along with my handicap with help from Andy.

Andy Gurney? I think he is a class act. He’s obviously highly skilled, and is an excellent, patient coach. He knows what he’s talking about and what you need to do, or change to really improve and reach your true potential. The way he explains things and how to fix problems is clear, and spot on. Andy takes a genuine and personal interest in you and I can only say that if you really are serious about getting better at golf, get the best teacher. Go talk to Andy. I’m glad I did!
